Hercules’ DJUCED® DJ Software Now Features Beatport Compatibility

Launched in 2011, DJUCED® has become a major player in the world of DJ software, with over 650,000 licensed users worldwide and a multitude of cutting-edge features offering its users a wide range of mixing possibilities. Today, the DJUCED® team is thrilled to announce the launch of Version 5 of the software included with all Hercules DJ controllers.

Available today, DJUCED® ‘s latest update introduces significant improvements, including an integration of Beatport LINK. DJUCED® has proudly partnered with Beatport to offer their users a complete source of electronic music with the possibility to download or stream tracks from Beatport LINK.

THE PERFECT MIX WITH BEATPORT LINK AND DJUCED® INTELLIGENT MUSIC ASSISTANT

Beatport LINK allows DJs to stream Beatport’s catalog of over nine million tracks directly into DJ performance software. The streaming service is designed to complement the core digital download store of Beatport and provide an additional revenue source for labels, artists, and suppliers.

DJUCED® assists music aficionados along every stage of their DJing journey – from taking their first steps to start and learn, to performing for the first time for a crowd. Via Beatport LINK, DJUCED® DJs now have access to a powerful collection of nearly unlimited music to mix in DJUCED®. For the first time, laptop DJs can take 50 (with Beatport LINK PRO) or 100 (with Beatport LINK PRO+) tracks offline in DJUCED®, via Beatport LINK’s proprietary digital locker technology. These tracks can then be played at a public venue without the need for an Internet connection.

Thanks to its innovative Intelligent Music Assistant (IMA), DJUCED® can suggest the best-fit next tracks to help DJs put together creative mixes every single time. This unique feature developed by the DJUCED team also works with Beatport LINK, meaning DJUCED® can suggest a track from the current playlist that would be a good fit to play next. It’s an easy way to build a strong, coherent and harmonic DJ Set even as the DJ switches between genres.

Subscribers can preview and mix full-length tracks before purchasing the standout tracks for their download collections. In the next leap forward, the DJUCED® 5 integration introduces a groundbreaking club-ready feature as part of the new Beatport LINK PRO ($39.99 USD/month) and Beatport LINK PRO+ ($59.99 USD/month) subscription tiers. Additionally, the streaming audio quality will be higher than that of 320kbps MP3 files.

- A multi-core analysis to gain time

The implementation of “Multi-core” track analysis allows users to explore various tracks at the same time.

- A visual guide for downloading and loading tracks

DJUCED has developed a new system for loading and analyzing tracks with different statuses in the browser and in the jog wheel.

- A new SLIP mode waveform animation

To make the SLIP function easier to understand, DJUCED Waveform now splits into two pieces when the SLIP function is active.
