“So, how’s that inflammation going?”
He took one look at my blood sample and called my number.
“Any time I consume dairy, I feel it big time,” was my response.
But I think he was expecting me to be feeling a lot more pain than I was, and more frequent.
I felt kind of lucky in that moment, to be honest.
…Wait, what’s this about?
See, I kind of went AWOL last week.
I finished work, rented a car, and drove four hours from Greater Vancouver to the Okanagan.
On a Tuesday.
Only to make the entire four-hour return trip home the next day (I took the day off work).
Who does that?!
Well, I’d booked an appointment with a blood specialist. Not any old specialist, but one of a kind. As in, there are only four other people in the WORLD who operate at his level.
I had somehow managed to squeeze in an appointment on short notice, with a man who has a waiting list until October 2026 (no kidding…).
I didn’t have any pressing health concerns (save for some minor things I’ve alluded to before), but my friends had seen the specialist, gotten their supplements, and were incredibly HAPPY with their results, so…
I decided it was time for me to get on this, too.
I will spare you most of the details of my results, but…
First, I’m in reasonably good health, which I expected (grateful).
But in terms of the inflammation and anxiety I’ve been experiencing, there was an identifiable cause.
(Friends, there is always a cause. You just need to find someone who can figure it out.)
The specialist pinned it as a bacterial infection.
I was sent home with four supplements and a suggestion to increase cardio and consume a sulfur-reduced diet.
The specialist expects me to see significant improvement in the next four months, assuming I follow the program.
Not only did he tell me that my cognitive abilities should sharpen (can you imagine me being any more of a smart-ass than I already am?!)…
But I would also lose more weight.
As you hopefully know by now, this has already been an incredible year of weight loss for me…
And sure, I was expecting to be able to continue to optimize.
Work out, trim down, firm up, increase muscle mass, you know?
But I wasn’t expecting to be able to keep losing weight.
Combined with another system I’ve embraced, my weight and health are on a better trajectory than they have been in years, and I’m stoked.

But let me turn this over to you now...
How’s That Coffee Addiction Treating You?
We all need our fix, don’t we?
While coffee isn’t really my thing (heresy!)…
I’ll be honest:
I have sometimes relied on tea, yerba mate, or energy drinks to give me a lift.
But most of it did more harm than good, at least over the long term…
And among other things, the quality of the product was the problem.
They wreaked havoc on my nervous system, and sometimes even led me to the point of burnout (but not on many occasions, thankfully).
Of course, it would be the case that my nervous system was overloaded; I just didn’t know what the underlying causes were (see more above).
Ready to Make a Change? Let’s Talk…
How about you?
What has your relationship with caffeine been like?
Do you regularly drink coffee, energy drinks, soda pop, tea, or other beverages of a feather?
Do you use any other nootropics or other stimulants to get through your days?
Have you ever thought about quitting?
Do you want to?
If so, I recently started a new program that you might be interested in learning about.
And just so we’re clear, we’re not talking about addiction recovery, or behavior modification, or white knuckling through your withdrawal symptoms.
I hated all of that, and virtually never succeeded for longer than a few months.
We're also not talking about you driving four hours across your province or state to see a blood specialist (although that could be part of your future).
No, we’re talking about replacing what you’re already doing.
And it’s not hard…
At the very least, I haven’t found any part of it to be hard.
Like I said, caffeine was an occasional thing for me anyway…
But once I was on it, I sure found it hard to quit.
(And the over-consumption of bad products led to burnout…)
The benefits of getting on this new program have been HUGE already (has it only been two weeks?!):
- My mental sharpness has increased
- I have more energy (even on the weekends)
- And it’s delicious (can healthy be this tasty?!)
I didn’t invent it. I’m just sharing it.
Because I like to share cool things I find.
I like to think my recommendations have been 95% GOLDEN.
(The other 5%? Well, maybe I sold out a bit or jumped on a thing a little too early… I’m human.)
Well, you be the judge.
But if you think you might be ready to give up the coffee addiction and get yourself on a healthier path…
Drop me a line.
Leveling up,
David
P.S. Most of the quantum leaps I’ve made this year are because of the quality of information and products I’ve been accessing.
People like to say, “All the information is out there,” but this is exactly why it’s total B.S.
How many people do you know who have tried, many times, to lose 20, 30, 40 lbs. and were unsuccessful? Tons, right?
That’s because weight loss has nothing to do with knowing more.
It doesn’t have much to do with moving more and eating less, either (although you can expect to see some benefits)…
It has EVERYTHING to do with the right information. Good information. Qualified information. Information that has the potential to transform.
Most information doesn’t possess these qualities.
Most information sucks.
I can’t tell you how many mainstream books people celebrate that are total crap, in my opinion, but that’s another thing for another time.
Here, I will add the disclaimer that I’m not a physician, and that you should always check with a qualified professional before changing your diet, taking supplements, or starting a new program.
Bottom line, if we all have access to the same information… Why does it seem like most people keep getting suckered by the BAD, WRONG information?
Why do they keep getting taken by scammers and grifters?
…and don’t get any of the results they’re looking for?
That’s what you’ve got to ask yourself.
So, if you’re ready to address that coffee addiction now, you can learn how the program works here. https://davidandrewwiebe.com/blood-specialist-health-shift/
