In what is sure to be the first of many press clippings, David Andrew Wiebe’s first premium book, Productivity, Performance & Profits Blackbook was featured in an article on SoftwareHow titled Best Gift for Programmers.
We reached out to Wiebe himself for comment:
“This book, as with any of my last seven books, is relatively broadly applicable,” offered Wiebe. “If you remove sections about music distributors, Performance Rights Organizations, music licensing and placements, music instruction, live performance, and the like, you are left with the core, usually revolving around the key topics of mindset, personal development, and marketing, that anyone in any discipline can benefit from. Even programmers benefit from these fundamentals, especially those developing and marketing their own software.”
“As it applies to the Blackbook” added Wiebe, “programmers love to get into flow, ‘the zone,’ if you will. In that state, time seems to disappear, and they’re able to crank out code like they were possessed. And my book holds many of the secrets to finding that flow as well.”
Wiebe began taking pre-orders for the Productivity, Performance & Profits Blackbook on January 11, 2023. On February 20, 2023, he launched v0.7, making the book available for sale even as he continues to develop it so that he can gather early feedback and improve upon what is already a standout work.
