Content Marketing Musician: Learning Hub for Musicians

As an aspiring musician, have you ever wondered how to get your voice heard?

It’s not a forgiving world out there. It’s like the pick of the draw to get an agent on your side.

Maybe you’ve turned to post your songs on social media channels, such as YouTube, seeking the attention of scrollers. Or perhaps you’ve taken advantage of every open mic opportunity and gig location willing to have you.

Marketing anything can be a challenge. You might have the best product in the world, but if you don’t know how to sell it, you’re left with all the inventory and empty pockets.

It’s not much different being a musician. You’re honing your technique by practicing hours a day, making contacts on the road, and generating likes on your YouTube channel. But you’re still not seeing the success you would like.

As with most musicians and artists, you’re much better at working on your craft than you are at selling yourself and your work. Don’t feel bad — selling doesn’t come naturally to most. But as with many things, marketing is a skill that can be learned.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a place you could go to learn these skills all in one place? And better yet, hitting all the pain points, you have as a musical artist? How about one-on-one coaching with a musician who’s been there and done that? That’s where Content Marketing Musician comes in.

So, what is Content Marketing Musician? David Andrew Wiebe, the creator, explains: “Content Marketing Musician is entirely an extension of Music Entrepreneur HQ. Until recently, we were using a hodgepodge of tools to distribute our various assets, including free PDF reports, digital products, and books.” But the process of inputting this information was somewhat disorganized.

“Content Marketing Musician was built on a new funnel, website, course, and membership builder called 10XPro. It allows us to do all of the above from one, convenient, central location.”

With this organized platform with developed content in place, Content Marketing Musician is a growing hub of essential information to take your music career to the next level. With an option to subscribe monthly or annually to save you money in the long run, it has offerings any musician will find invaluable.

But there’s an exciting twist that Wiebe included in the membership. Instead of taking the entire membership fee and throwing it back into the business, he decided to donate a generous 50% of the proceeds to a specific charity*. It is an organization that is “focused heavily on the education of underprivileged children, but also develops healthcare clinics, dams, sanitation, and more,” Wiebe explains. The focus of their projects is carried out in developing countries.

Why this cause in particular? Not only are they sowing into people who need a chance, but Wiebe’s late grandparents (paternal) and his late father both passionately supported this organization. “I see this as an opportunity to continue that legacy, to be connected to my loved ones, even if it's just in the values I was raised with and the memories I will always treasure,” Wiebe states.

With years of experience in the music industry as a guitarist, writer, blogger, and podcaster, Wiebe recognizes the challenges involved as a creative in the world. Since 2007, he has had the opportunity “to help other musical artists develop their careers,” and teaching became a passion for him.

“I've focused ruthlessly on answering questions, creating value for others, helping them have breakthroughs, coaching them in what they want to create in their own lives.” Wiebe is no slouch when it comes to helping those along in their journey. He recognizes the importance of self-improvement but also works in teams to build others up in their creativity.

This comes back to the connection between Content Marketing Musician and supporting inter-world development. “On either end, we're educating. We're educating musicians on the one end, and helping educate underprivileged children on the other end.”

This is musicians growing in their craft. This is children from developing countries being empowered for tomorrow. This is legacy. And what an incredible legacy that is!
